Do you think they'll be successful in telling the story through their perspectives?
They may say that, but they're largely trivializing race, and highly fictionalizing real people, notably Ian Fleming.
There are a lot of holes in the story, for sure, but I think Timeless does a decent job at including the little things that many similar shows/movies forget. They depict segregation throughout the series, highlight land redistribution in the Lincoln Assassination episode, and sexism in the Space Race.
