Charles Duke was Capsule Communicator for the Apollo 11 mission and is currently a retired astronaut.
In the Timeless Universe[]
In the original timeline, Charles Duke and the rest of the flight team (including Gene Kranz) manage to get Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to the moon and back safely.
In the altered timeline, Duke and the team still succeed in this mission, but are almost stopped by Garcia Flynn and Anthony Bruhl who let loose a modern computer virus on NASA's computers. The virus is stopped by the combined efforts of Rufus Carlin and Katherine Johnson.
