- The Lifeboat team travels to 1888 Chinatown, San Francisco, to bring Jiya home.

- While in the 1880s, Jiya has a photograph of herself taken with a Klingon-language message indicating the location of the Lifeboat and a warning not to come for her. This photograph is published in a history book about Chinatown.
